Today is going to be a beautiful day. The temperature is getting up to 70 degrees. It is time for me to do projects outside. We need to finish staining the other side of the fence. It is very time consuming since you have to power wash it first. I think I will take over that job from my husband since he is working everyday. We also want to restain the back deck. I think it looks good the way it is. We stained it last year but my husband says it needs another coat.

I just put the turkey in the oven. I was going to do it the other day but it was still frozen. It is a 12 lb. turkey and it will take about 3-1/2 hours to cook. I love leftover turkey so I can make sandwichs. I think that is why I am cooking it. I have had a taste for turkey for about 2 weeks now. I was going to buy turkey lunch meat but I knew I had a turkey in the deep freezer and sandwiches taste better from a whole turkey. At least I think so.

My daughter only has 4 days of school this week. She is off Good Friday and then next week she is off Monday the day after Easter. We are going to decorate eggs

on Friday. I might even fill some plastic eggs and put them around the front yard so she can find them. I know she will love that.

I need to get my feet ready for my flip flops. I already have been wearing them but only around the house. My daughter and I never did give each other pedicures. She is so busy with her friends and sleepovers. I know when she comes home from school and is going to run in and run out. She seems to be getting her homework done at school these days.

I am off to get shiny and clean.

Wow you sound like super woman today! Power wash the fence, stain it and the deck and cook a turkey! you go girly!
Hey I found the best way to get your daughter to give you a pedicure is to just pay her. I have a lil sheet that my youngest made with the prices for massages and pedicures(there are diffrent prices for each one and you can make up your own package deals!) I don't mind paying, because she really does put effort in it and is quite good! Cheaper than the spa and I can relax in my pj's while getting it done....I doubt if my local Vietnamese nail spa would appreciate me with no bra and in my pj's layed out in their shop! lol
I hope you enjoy your beautiful spring day and that yummy turkey.

Girl you make me tired just reading all this <g> my kids are on springbreak so other than walk the dog, feed the cats and pour a cup of coffee - I didn't do much of anything yet.  Oh sorry yes I did, I shoved two whole chickens into crockpots and walked away, that was a lot of work.  ;o)

OMGosh you must be tired after all of that work.....PHEW!!! The turkey sounds yummy and I have to agree with you that the meat tastes best from a whole bird. :) I think Marv is going to grill a whole bird on Easter Sunday.....I can't for it!

Glad you had a warm day too,  was close to 80 here!!  Whoo Hooo!!!  Enjoy those turkey sandwichs,  yumm,  so good.  My feet are in need of a pedicure also,  I never wear shoes in the summer,  flip flops or bare feet,  thats what I did today,  felt great.

I have to work this Easter weekend onsite at the hospital.  That REALLY bites considering it is my first Easter home in four years!

Boy what a woman!  Take on the big projects outside the house and then cook a turkey!  I'm soooooooooo bad!  I always buy my turkeys cooked from the deli.  That reminds me!  Easter & Ham.  Think I'll do that this weekend.  Reminds me of my grandmother.  Thanks for stopping by my journal.  I'm gonna try and keep posting those words for Mothers.  Stop by anytime!  Btw...my daughter is 13. Ugh.  De ;)
