St. Patrick's Day of course

Good Morning Everyone.

I didn't even realize I didn't put an entry in my journal yesterday. I was sleeping most of the day. I get like that once or twice a month where my body just tells me to sleep. I think it has to do with me not sleeping very well. Before my hysterectomy I was having a hard time sleeping but after it I seem to have become a complete insomianc (sp). Sometimes I take Tylenol PM's but they really seem to make me groggy in the morning.

It is so strange but I have never had green beer. I really don't like beer so that is probably why. When I was a banker and worked in downtown Chicago I would always watch the parade from the window. That is when they had the parade on St. Patrick's day. Now they have a week before. I don't know why. I love how they dye the river green. One day I will take my daughter to see it. My husband has taken her to the south side Irish parade. She loved it. She gets to dress up today because it is Spirit Day at her school. She already painted her nails glitter green. She asked me to wake her up a little early so she can find the Kiss Me I'm Irish buttons.

My husband doesn't have to start his side job until 2 pm. I asked him a few days ago if he would help me to vacuum the mattresses and box springs. I try to do that twice a year. You have to get rid of those dust mites.

I am not sure what time my brother is coming tomorrow. I know his flight gets in sometime today. I will probably be pretty busy dusting and washing the floors today. The house is fairly clean but just a few odds and ends to take care of.

After my daughter got out of school we went to put my husband check in the bank and they wouldn't put it in because it was dated the 17th. He was pretty upset because now he has to take a drive this morning to the bank. It is kind of far. We also took my daughter to Payless to get new gym shoes. I can't believe she is in a size 7 shoe already. She is going to be 12 in 3 months. She is not my baby anymore.  lol

Ok, I think this morning I will go get some coffee. I really haven't been drinking it. I have just been losing my taste for it. I only have about 2 or 3 cups a day but lately it is either 1 or none.

Well, I hope everyone has a bright GREEN day.

Hi! our daughters are almost the same age.  Hailey will be 12 in 8 months.  She is into the same things, glitter nail polish.. etc. She had to buy a blinky button and green beads to wear today. Sometimes I can't get over how fast she is growing up, makes me a little sad!
Enjoy the weekend with your brother!
