My daughter is finally home. We picked her up last night at about 7:30 and got home around 8:30. She looked like she has grown an inch. She is about 5'3" already and she is only 11 years old. I missed her so much. We got to bed pretty late because we were up talking and just laying around in bed. I finally told her I was getting tired at midnight and she went to bed. I finally woke her up at 11:30 this morning. Her friends have been calling since 9:30. She got up made some phone calls and was out the door. She said she was going to the park and while she was there one of her friends called to have pizza at her house. I get off the phone and my daughter is at the door saying none of her friends were at the park so she went to have pizza at her other friends house. I am going to have to get her her own phone line soon. Not!

Well, it is a beautiful day today. 68 degrees. I am off to sit on the back deck and read. Have a great day everyone.

your daughter is very beautiful! Start getting used to her being gone more than home. You like that they have friends, but you just want to have them around more, know what I mean? Glad she's enjoying spring break though

You have a lovely daughter. Man, I can relate to all the activity with Hailey being the same age, and she is 5'3" too...just slightly shorter than me.  She is growing like a weed.  It kinda bums me out how she doesn't want to be with mom all the time anymore!

Sounds like time for a cell phone! Everyone has been talking about pizza today. I'm definitely going to have to order some for dinner! Martha :-)
