My Weight Loss

I have been on this change of lifestyle for 1 week now and I have lost 6 lbs. I am so happy. I know the first week you always lose the most. I didn't get in as much walking as I would have liked but I know I am on the right path. I struggled last night with the eating right. I finally went downstairs and got a bowl of cereal. I really wanted some kind of meat. I seem to crave meat more than anything. I didn't want to touch the hard salami well maybe a little. LOL

My husband and I need to get to the nursery soon. I think we started our garden last year at the end of May. My cucumber plants are really getting big and I need to put them in the ground. My carrots and bell pepper are doing ok. I could only save 2 carrot plants. I don't know what the problem was.

I get to go for my license in 12 days. I can't believe it. I have been trying not to think about it so it would go by quicker. I have to give the 70.00 reinstatment 7 days before I go to take the written test.

My daughter just woke up and said that she hurts all over. The outdoor retreat yesterday had them walking all day.

Well, I told her I would make her some french toast this morning and then she wants to make a white cake with frosting. Keep me strong to not touch or eat or lick the frosting. LOL

Congrats on the 6 pounds! Try getting a protien shake mix. You might be craving protien and it just might help with the meat cravings. Have a great weekend! Martha :-)

WooHoo! Congrats on your loss! That is awesome!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting comments but I do read the journal!!

Keep up the great work you are doing.

When I went and my bloodwork check and my good cholesterol was down they told me to eat more fish and chicken.

Take care!

Thanks for visiting my journal.  I so need to get motivated to lose weight.  I only have 38 pounds to go, but it seems like so much.  I know I would feel better.  I have felt so down lately, all I want to do is sleep.  This is so unlike me.  Praying for your health.

Love and prayers,
Susan

Great job on the weight loss...as for salami, I literally cannot buy it...if I do I will eat every last piece...I just love the stuff...on a sandwich with lots of mustard!
