This is my niece and she is also my godchild. She just turned 17 and lives in Tennessee. She was going to the prom and I think the pictures turned out wonderful. I am so proud of her. She is very smart and will be going to college. I miss her so much. I am not sure if she is coming up this year. She comes to Illinois for about 3 to 4 weeks each year to visit family. I asked my sister but she said she is not sure what she wants to do. Waiting patiently.

I forgot to mention the other day my daughter brought home a certificate telling her that her poem was selected as one of high merit and was chosen for publication for Creative Communication's Young Poets Contest. I am so proud of her. It takes about 20-24 weeks before the finished book will be ready to be shipped.

I mentioned to my husband that we need to go to the nursery and get our garden started.  The weather has been miserable and he has been working a lot. I think I will ask him to take Friday off so we can go.

Let the countdown begin. lol I have 4 or maybe 5 more days until I can drive. I am pretty sure my neighbor is taking me Thursday. He said he would but he is on vacation right now and will get back late tomorrow. If he doesn't then I know I will ask my hubby to take off work so he can take me Friday. Let me tell you the 3 months went by really, really slow.

I think my mother in law and sister in law are coming over either Wednesday or Thursday. I told my hubby that if I get my license on Thursday I will be driving all day until it gets dark.

Tonight we are going grocery shopping. I ate my last salad fixings for lunch and I need more. We are also on our last bottle of water. This will be the last time my husband has to take me and I know he will be very happy about that. I know he doesn't mind because he can get the sweets that he likes.
