Just wanted to share with you what I read in the Sunday Tribune newspaper today. I got a few chuckles out of it. It is titled: If you do the crimes, do the time.  First Place: Not returning your shopping cart to the parking lot "cart coral" gets you six months of having to use the cart with the jiggly front wheel.

Here are a few others: Returning too many items to a store throughout the year sentences you to a full shift behind the returns desk on Dec. 26.

Anyone who pays for a $1 item with a $50 bill gets his change back in pennies.

The crime of greeting someone with "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" at Wal-Mart will earn you a frown from the one person who objects to the religious endorsement and a smile from the other 5,000 customers of the day.      (My favorite)

My husband and daughter went Christmas shopping today, or so I thought until the door opened after only 2 hours and my husband was alone. He said it seemed like our daughter really wasn't into shopping today so he let her go to her girlfriends house and they decided to go shopping at the mall. I couldn't believe it. He said they will try again tomorrow. He told me in the car when we were on our way to get some movies from Blockbuster that she started showing him purses and clothes and he said he felt sort of funny and out of place. I said to him what about all the times you talk about having a feminine side. He just laughed. I knew the time would come when it would be hard for my hubby to hang out with our daughter, especially since it was shopping. My husband likes doing all the physical things with our daughter. I think that is what he loves to do most with her.

I am off to take a jacuzzi and to read awhile. Sweet dreams everyone.
