I took my neighbor to renew his driver's license since it was suspended for a few months.  It took about 2 hours and then I asked him if he wanted to try and find insurance for his car and he said yes. He went into this insurance place but forgot to bring the title so we drove back home and then we went back to the insurance company and then to the currency exchange so he could change the title. We got home a little after noon. I am happy we got to take care of all of this because he has a job interview tomorrow. He wanted to give me 20 dollars for gas but I told him no. He kept saying well I will buy you something and I said just make me something on your grill if you insist in giving me something.

I couldn't believe when I got home that my daughter was still asleep.

I know she had a hard time going to sleep last night because I was also awake after 2. She starts school on Friday and even though it is only for an hour I know she is going to have a hard time getting up. Last year I started her going to bed early about 10 days before but this time it seems to be a little harder. It seems the older she gets the more she likes to sleep.

On Monday I became a great aunt again. Her name is Hope Hanley and she weighs 8lbs. 9ozs. Our family just keeps growing and growing.

Tomorrow my daughter and I are going to finish with some school things. She needs gym shoes and an art sketch book. Everything else I got about a month ago.  I don't really feel like going to the mall but I know my daughter loves it and we get these fantastic smoothies and everytime I go I get a different one. I think I am going to have to start making them at home.

Well, this old lady is getting tired. I have to make up for the sleep I didn't get yesterday.

Hailey sleeps like that, too! I can hardly get her up before noon. Today I went and tried waking her up at 10 because we were going to get her hair cut. Well, I came back downstairs and she fell back asleep! I think they are growing a lot & need more sleep. I need to start her getting to bed earlier, too!

I like that name Hope Hanley! That's cute. In my book, I named Hailey "Hope." I have always liked that name!

Nice of you to take your neighbor all over town!

During the teen years their bodies are growing and changing like crazy, so they require a lot of sleep. My daughter naturally has always been one to sleep 8-10 hours a night. During the summer it is worse! They start school on 9/6 and I am starting her back on a schedule this week. She is starting high school and have to go to school earlier!
