It's Been Awhile

I am sitting here cheering on the Chicago Bears and they are losing. I am hoping they will be 6-0 by tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I can't believe I haven't done an entry in about 2 weeks. Time flies when you are busy. I seem to get on the computer more but I am always reading journals instead of putting in my own entries. I should be going to bed in a few minutes but I don't feel tired. I am still driving my neighbor but it is probably going to end in a few weeks because he is going to be moving closer to his work. I gave him a 2 week notice last week but told him I could wait until he finds an apartment. I want to start taking my daughter to some kind of activity after school since volleyball is over with. They received a 3rd place trophy. I am so proud of them. This is my daughter's first trophy since she started playing 3 years ago.

On Saturday we celebrated my mother in law's 73rd birthday and my great nephew Sean's 4th birthday. There had to be about 30 people there. It was so crowded. Here is a picture of me with the 3 newest babies.

I was trying to hold all 3 and I was losing them. LOL Maya is on the left, Jeffrey in the middle and Hope on the right.

I can't believe how cold it has been here. It snowed last week and left a dusting of it on my back deck. What happened to fall! lol Today it is raining and it is suppose to rain for a few days.

My sister and her family was in Hawaii for a few days. She left about 8 hours before the earthquake hit. I am so happy they made it home safe. They said they had a wonderful time. She said it was very expensive. I went to Hawaii about 25 years ago and it was expensive then. I would love to go back one day.

Well, I am going to watch a little bit more football before I go to bed.

Hope the Bears win - I'm not a football fan but know its going to be a good week for hubby when the Panthers win.  Love the pic of you and the babies - you look so happy.  Congrats to daughter.  I'm sure it will be nice for you to stop driving your neighbor, no more early, early ams right? Also am glad your sister made it home safely - glad she had fun.  Leene

You look so happy holding those cute little babies.  Glad you had fun with them.  My ex hubby is on his honeymoon in Hawaii right now.  When I heard about the earthquake, it freaked me out.  That is my kids father there.  It had me worried for them, especially now since he has finally seemed to have gotten his life together and we get along.  Have a great day!!!

my hubby was really into that Bears game. He is a Green Bay Packers fan - but he wanted the Bears to win that day.  He had to stay up late to see the end of the game & kept yelling to me, "You gotta come watch this play!" LOL!

Hope you have a great night!
